We all want the best for our kids, and that includes giving our kids opportunities to participate in sport.
Sport is not just about health and fitness, it's a chance for kids to have fun and make friends in a supportive environment.
But like most things, there are costs involved in participation - membership fees, uniforms, equipment, insurance.
And sometimes, if the budget is tight, kids miss out.
That's why I'm calling on Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to make costs of junior sport more affordable, instead of giving tax breaks to the wealthy and big business.
There are several options and making junior sports tax deductible would be a good start.
Please join with me and help me prove that local families want governments at all levels to make it easier for kids to play sport.
